Coerver^® Coaching British Columbia - Director

Dan has over 30 years of coaching experience. He has coached the UBC JR Varsity Women’s Team, U’16 & 17 Boys’ Provincial All Star Teams, the Kwantlen University Men’s Soccer Team, and at the Premier level of the VMSL. Dan did his undergraduate work in Physical Education at UBC, holds a Bachelor in Education (UBC) as well as a Masters in Education. He has been a teacher in Vancouver for 25 years and is currently a PE teacher at the VSB. Dan has a Provincial C License.

SUNNY UPPAL

Coerver^® Coaching British Columbia - Head Coach

Sunny has over 20 years of coaching experience, including 12 years with Coerver Coaching. In addition he was Assistant Coach and Athletic trainer for Kwantlen University-College Men's Team. Sunny is currently a High School PE teacher in Surrey, and holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Kinetics and Education, as well a a Masters Degree in Physical Education. Sunny played 4 years of Varsity soccer at UBC. Sunny has the distinction of being the only High School coach to take his team to 5 consecutive Senior Girls Provincial Championship Final games!

Bobby Jhutty

Bobby has 17 years of coaching experience. He has coached with Coerver for the past 5 years, and is a BC Soccer Instructor, where he certifies youth coaches throughout the province. He has also coached extensively on the North Shore with their development centres. Bobby has his Provincial B Certificate as well as his BC Soccer Learning Facilitator Certification. As a player he represented BC on the U'14-17 All Star Teams. He also played Junior Varsity Soccer at UVIC.

David Thorburn-Coerver Richmond Head Coach

David has over thirty years’ experience in professional soccer as a player, coach, manager, chief scout and agent. He is highly qualified and has worked extensively in Scotland and England with many clubs including Glasgow Rangers, Aberdeen and Greenock Morton as well as the Scottish and English FA. His qualifications include UEFA (A) Int. UEFA (B) License, Youth License. Children's License.  Degree in Sports Development. Working with Disabilities Trainer Award, Coach educator for Coerver Soccer. Clinician at the worlds largest coach education organization (NSCAA/ United Soccer Coaches.
